A Note From McKenna
“Starting therapy is hard enough, and finding a therapist who actually gets you can feel like an even more daunting process. When you’ve worked with providers who had the best of intentions but didn’t meet you where you were, it can be discouraging. People want a therapist who truly sees them, understands what they’re going through, and can strike the right balance between gentle challenge and genuine compassion while using approaches that support their goals.
I strive to understand the full scope of who each client is— their story, their strengths, what they’ve lived through, and what they want from our work together. I use a holistic, highly personalized approach that adapts to each client’s needs, centering on where they are and who they hope to become. I work alongside clients as a teammate, helping them make sense of their experiences and make impactful, long-term change.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe being their truest selves, without judgment or pressure. I strive to build a relationship that feels meaningful, supportive, steady, and with the kind of occasional humor that makes hard conversations just a little easier. “

Get to Know McKenna
“Working hard is important, but there’s something that matters even more. Believing in yourself. Think of it this way: Every great wizard in history has started out as nothing more than we are now. Students. If they can do it, why not us?” — Because while I don’t care for J.K Rowling, I’m a big Harry Potter nerd.
I feel at ease doing anything that makes me feel present: being by the water, riding a longboard, playing the guitar, or eating donuts!
Outside of work, I host a podcast called More Than a Body where I talk about food, body image, and mental health – slipping in an occasional unhinged joke or SpongeBob reference.
Mental health is not a destination but a journey and we would love to be a part of yours.
