A Note From Alana
“Being in relationship with others is a universal human experience, though it doesn’t come without challenges. I believe that how we show up in relationships with ourselves and others sets the foundation for everything else in our lives. As a therapist with a focus on relationships, anxiety, complex family dynamics, relational trauma, and grief, I create a safe and nurturing space for clients of all identities and ages to explore their emotional worlds and relational challenges.
Practicing from an anti-racist, trauma-informed lens, I draw on existential and psychodynamic theories to support clients toward deeper self-awareness and compassionate understanding. Grounded in liberation psychology, I also emphasize the importance of intersectionality, empowerment, resistance, and the influence of oppressive systems on relationships and personal well-being.
With a calm and comforting demeanor, I strive to foster trust and openness, while centering every client’s autonomy to create meaningful and long-lasting growth. I am dedicated to helping clients build stronger, more fulfilling connections with themselves and others.”
